ba12Fitness is a way of life. Once you make the choice to maintain a healthy lifestyle, your entire world changes. For our boot campers Barb and Jeff (J.D.), the decision to improve their lives came in November, 2012.

Barb and JD used to eat out at least three times a week. Their favorite hangouts included local restaurants and chains such as Steak n’ Shake, and Sonny’s. Barb’s favorite foods were bread, cheese, and any desserts. JD favored chips, sausage, fries, and burgers.

Although Barb attended the local rec center and JD had a personal trainer, they weren’t satisfied with their results. When an opportunity to join the Total Body Results family presented itself, the two jumped on it.

That was in November of 2012. They paired their evening workouts with the 21-day clean eating program. Attending the grocery store tour and completing the 21-day was a pivotal moment. Both now know the importance of a good diet and swear by it.

Since joining the TBR family, Barb has lost 11lbs, and JD has lost 15lbs! Now, instead of eating out, the pair cooks at home. Their favorites include vegetables, fish and chicken with Drew’s Marinade. They keep consistent with their workouts, and continue to see results. “Here (with TBR) we have a great support group and fabulous instructors”, said Barb when asked what sets our family apart from other programs.

Lost 20bs and says, “believe me I feel like I’m eating all the time”.

Ken:

I weighed 200 when you responded to my email to come try your boot camp. I recently hit 182…and believe me I feel like I’m eating all the time. When I was down only 20 lbs I saw a big difference in clothes and appearance. I’ve put on muscle mass so the actual FAT loss is even greater!

This was my 4th cycle of boot camp and I have lots of energy and feel “light on my feet”!!   I’m on target to exceed my expectations to be “in shape” for Memorial Day weekend and for the summer days that follow!!    That six-pack is still trying to hide behind what’s left, but I think some diet adjustments may do the trick.

Sticking to a program has always been difficult for me. The tight TBR community of positive people has amazed me and now I look forward to the next workout.

I have done every diet known. I thought I knew everything about counting fat, carbs & calories. However, the grocery store tour turned out to be quite educational. I realized it’s about nutrition and “clean” eating. If I wanted to be healthy I had to stop eating garbage.

Julia & crew are inspiring and encouraging. It’s contagious! For the first time in years, I believe that I CAN reach whatever fitness goal I set for myself.

Over the years I’ve tried local gyms, fad diets and many others but they did not last. Hi. My name is Christi Masi (yes I know it looks like Christmas! ) and I am going to turn 35 this February. I am a stay at home mom to two sets of twins. My first set will be 7 in January and my second set are 20 months. My life is hectic to say the least.

To be honest, after my first set of twins, my baby weight came off pretty easily. Chasing two toddlers around does that!
