Once you make the choice to maintain a healthy lifestyle, your entire world changes. For our boot campers Barb and Jeff (J.D.), the decision to improve their lives came in November, 2012.</p>
<p>Barb and JD used to eat out at least three times a week. Their favorite hangouts included local restaurants and chains such as Steak n’ Shake, and Sonny’s. Barb’s favorite foods were bread, cheese, and any desserts. JD favored chips, sausage, fries, and burgers.</p>
<p>Although Barb attended the local rec center and JD had a personal trainer, they weren’t satisfied with their results. When an opportunity to join the Total Body Results family presented itself, the two jumped on it.</p>
<p>That was in November of 2012. They paired their evening workouts with the 21-day clean eating program. Attending the grocery store tour and completing the 21-day was a pivotal moment. Both now know the importance of a good diet and swear by it.</p>
<p>Since joining the TBR family, Barb has lost 11lbs, and JD has lost 15lbs! Now, instead of eating out, the pair cooks at home. Their favorites include vegetables, fish and chicken with Drew’s Marinade. They keep consistent with their workouts, and continue to see results. “Here (with TBR) we have a great support group and fabulous instructors”, said Barb when asked what sets our family apart from other programs.</p>

<p><strong>A new study from Glasgow University in Scottland showed that </strong><strong>OUTDOOR physical activity has a 50 percent greater positive effect on mental health than going to the typical indoor gym.</strong> <strong>People who exercise outdoors versus exercising indoors feel more revitalized, have increased energy levels, feel more enjoyment and satisfaction, have a decrease in tension, reduced anger and depression. The study showed the positive effect on people’s mental health was 50 per cent more than they might expect from going to the gym.</strong>&nbsp;</p>

<p>One can easily <strong>“mark a movement”</strong> at Boot Camp, in the gym or while doing outdoor cardio. PUSH HARD, breath and FOCUS, keeping your eye on the prize (Your fitness goals). You will be rewarded both mentally &amp; physically as your body &amp; mind become stronger. This empowerment will lead to constant improvement.</strong></span></p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Life is hectic.  We are pulled in ten different directions throughout our day.  When initiating a lifestyle change, the key is to <strong>keep with it for 21 days.</strong> <strong>This is the amount of time it takes to form a habit. </strong> It is so easy to run through a drive through after picking up the kids from school.  It is easy stay<img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-4410" title="Accountability Blog Danielle" src="http://totalbodyresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Accountability-Blog-Danielle-248x300.jpg" alt="" width="248" height="300" /> up late working on projects.  It is easy to sleep in just ten extra minutes in the morning before rolling out of bed for work.  It’s easy to come home from work, kick off your shoes, plop down on the couch, and eat a tray of cookies.  Unfortunately, with this lifestyle, it’s also easy to be diagnosed with diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity. </p>
<p>By making small adjustments, you can make a BIG impact on your habits.  Make time on Sunday to lay out a plan for what days you will attend TBR.  <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Write it down</span></strong>.  <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Post it on your refrigerator</strong></span>.  It is now a written commitment.  Once you’ve attended boot camp, cross that day off your list.  Congratulations!  You’ve made an accomplishment!  Also, <strong><span style="color: #3366ff;">write out your meals and snacks for the week</span>.</strong>  If you’re doing the Belly Blast challenge, study the week’s menu and make ahead any meals you can.  For instance, if egg salad is on the menu for Tuesday, hard boil your eggs and prepare the salad.  Wash, cut, weigh, and measure all portions and place them in bags or containers, labeled with which day they are going to be eaten.  <strong>This may seem time consuming at first, but once you make it a habit, you will actually have more time throughout the week to relax, get to bed earlier, and wake up early for 6AM boot camp!  It’s a win-win-win!  Our goal at TBR is to see you succeed. </strong> We are here to encourage you and provide the best quality total body workouts available.  <img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-4412" title="Accountability3" src="http://totalbodyresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Accountability3.jpg" alt="" width="222" height="227" /></p>
<p>Accountability is the key when starting a healthy lifestyle.  Here at TBR, we are here to guide you through lifestyle changes.  However, we can only cheer you on so far. In order to make this miracle happen, you must hold yourself accountable.  If you decide to attend boot camp only twice a week and not pay attention to your eating habits, you are NOT going to see results.  <span style="color: #3366ff; text-decoration: underline;"><strong>This is a lifetime commitment</strong></span>.  <strong>In order to achieve and</strong><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-4411" title="Accountability Blog Danielle 2" src="http://totalbodyresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Accountability-Blog-Danielle-2.jpg" alt="" width="204" height="158" /> <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>maintain the best shape and health of your life, you must attend boot camp a minimum of three times per week, while partaking in other cardio and fitness activities on days you are unable to make it to class.</strong> </span>By attending at least three classes a week, you will begin to see and feel the difference within the first couple of weeks.  That being said, <span style="text-decoration: underline;">diet is 70 percent of the challenge</span>.  <strong>If you haven’t attended a grocery store tour or tried the 21 day belly blast challenge, it’s time.  Compounded with exercise, the results are remarkable! </strong> We are here to encourage and enlighten you every step of the way.  You WILL SEE RESULTS if you take the initiative and ATTEND Boot Camp.  The time to improve your life is now!  We are waiting for you!  <strong>It’s only an hour out of your whole day! </strong></p>
