Kids are back to school, folks are finishing up with summer travels and NOW is the perfect time to get back on track!

Get back into a routine. Have summer days got ya feeling lazy?! It’s all too easy to let healthy habits slide in the summertime. All that socializing can lead to some not-so-stellar food choices.

Get yourself & those in your household back into a healthy routine.

-Get to bed earlier
-Create a menu for the week
-Pick one day out of the week to do your grocery shopping
-Pack healthy lunches
-Eat breakfast
-Don’t skip meals
-Better organize your days

Take a little time each night to pre-plan the next day. Decide what you will wear. Think about what you will eat for breakfast and what you can do to prepare it. For example, you can pre-make oatmeal, pre-set the coffee maker, set up pots or pans, or blend up a smoothie. Check your schedule and gather what you’ll need to bring with you as you head out the door: gym bag, lunch, paperwork.

-Spend some time alone to breathe deeply, meditate, ponder, review your goals, or read.
-Commit to weekly workouts with a friend or program that keeps you accountable.

Think about who you’re doing it for
