Thin living – Five easy tips to live healthier

LARGO – Many people hate working out and feel they don’t have time to achieve their ideal fitness goals. However, Total Body Results boot camp trainer, Julia Zammito teaches people how to achieve thin living by incorporating easy, realistic goals into daily life.

The following steps can be easily incorporated even into hectic lives:

  • Sweat every day – Even small activities such as cleaning, going for a walk or jog will burn calories. Even choosing to take the stairs instead of the elevator makes a difference.
  • Eliminate processed foods – The body does not recognize these foods, and they will pack on the pounds that can only be sweated off. Save yourself some extra needed exercise by skipping these foods from the start.
  • Drink eight glasses of water each day – Water hydrates the body, helps with efficiency, and boosts the metabolic rate that helps give you energy and burn calories.
  • Incorporate fun activities that burn calories – Make a point to do some of your favorite activities that happen to also be hidden exercise. Walk in your favorite park. Swim in the ocean. Take a bike ride with the kids. Play a game of Frisbee or basketball. Go dancing.
  • Recruit an accountability buddy – Get a friend involved to help motivate each other and stay on track. You can even spice it up and turn it into a competition or a game to help stick to it.

If you start making minor changes like these to your daily life, pretty soon it will become a habit and you’ll shed pounds without even realizing it.
